Can we predict who wins? And I thought the Skull background was appropriate for the imminent genocides caused by the revolution of the Illuminati due to mass stupidity in office.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

We are screwed. And just because I’m a New Yorker doesn’t mean I vote for Hillary.

It’s a sham. We all know that Boaty McBoatface won.

Just like in NASCAR, the corporate sponsors and the media are the real winners.

Hillary is likely to win, though not by a huge margin in the popular vote. Maybe only 1 or 2 percent victory overall.

Remember, it’s only rigged if your team loses.

That’s exactly it. We’ll still have an ever-widening socio-economic chasm and a more out of control and out of touch governing sector no matter who wins. Daily life won’t change.

The other issue is that a lot of people choose not to vote. This means that in general the other high offices (senate, congress, representatives etc) are usually filled by voters with an agenda - people who have been motivated for a particular issue gather in numbers to skew the vote for their candidate. This means that the lawmakers who create bills are more and more extreme in their views, more polarized than ever. Which turns into either a) nothing getting done or b) things getting done to serve an extreme viewpoint. Without compromise our government doesn’t work properly. Without all voters participating, we won’t have compromise. This means more than just turning out for the presidential race - this is for every election, local and state.

I’m leaning towards the getting nothing done side of the spectrum. The future is gridlock, with extreme idiots here and there. In a lobbyist/corporatized culture where business entities are people too, it won’t get better.

Still, the way I have always seen it is: if you don’t vote, you have no right to complain :)

You have no right to complain, but you are also actively choosing to make our system worse by not voting!

I agree, the least people could do who aren’t interested in either major candidate is vote third party, possibly making third party candidates more viable in future elections.

But then, the people who choose not to vote might not be smart enough to think that all the way through.
